Music site MFlow is iTunes meets Twitter
Unfortunately this appears to be only going to be available to UK subscribers at present.
Article: Bigpond: Music site MFlow is iTunes meets Twitter
An online music service which rewards people for recommending songs to their friends is tipped to challenge the dominance of iTunes.
Based in London, MFlow.com is designed with a combination of features from iTunes, Facebook and Twitter.
The point of difference of this online music store is that customers can earn cash by recommending music to their friends.
If an MFlow song is purchased upon a recommendation, the person nominating the track receives 20 per cent of what is paid to purchase that song.
Site spokesperson Tony Byrne says the MFlow is based on discovering new music from sources that people trust.
‘You can follow profiles of friends, DJ’s, artists, labels and every time they recommend something it comes into your inbox,’ Byrne said.
The service officially launches on April 15, and is only expected to be available to UK subscribers.
